The public benefit that flows from purpose (a) is: Increased involvement and promotion of facilities in Northern Ireland. The public benefits that flow from purpose (b) are: An enhanced quality of life and sense of well-being through participation in activities and events, leading to improvements in social, educational and physical health; an
increased involvement in sporting opportunities leading to greater social cohesion; the increased community, voluntary and club involvement in the delivery of events and activities for the benefit of children and young people that are hosted in Northern Ireland; an enhanced environment, leading to improved health and a better quality of life for the public; increased services and opportunities for the benefit of children and young people in the area of benefit. The benefits can be identified through feedback from the participants, evaluations of Newhill Football Club’s work, and impact and evaluations of those community and voluntary organisations that make use of the facilities offered. The benefits of events are evidenced through photographic evidence, receipts and invoices for events. The benefits are for children and young people, but is also open to families living throughout Northern Ireland achieving an improved quality of life for those who benefit from the work of these groups and organisations. There is no private benefit flowing from these purposes. When providing recreational activities for children and young people there is the risk that they could get injured or harmed, however we ensure all precautions, checks and policies are in place; furthermore the benefit out weights the harm.

Newhill Fc has been operated in since 1973 and works with over 200 young people every week offering sports development opportunities to 5-19 year old's. The group is a small locally based community sports group offering coaching, training, participation in competitions and residential opportunities for those involved in the club. We are a totally
voluntary organisation, working with the help of some 40 adult and youth volunteers. We operate daily and each evening to provide coaching and deliver youth programmes. These include, sporting issues, health, nutrition, decision-making and leadership.
