What your organisation does

Greencastle and District Community Development Ltd own and manage the Old School House in Greencastle which currently accommodates the local playgroup and Parent and Toddler group. The Women’s group have used the premises for classes and the building has been hired for children’s parties and other social activities. This has included training for

Health and Safety, Basic food Hygiene, First Aid and other classes such as computer classes, yoga and so on at a minimal cost or free. Having the classes locally means people do not have to travel to the nearest town and the reduced cost means it is accessible to everyone thereby relieving poverty The Cycling Club uses the premises as a refreshment station and local fundraising activities and information evenings have taken place in the building, more locally in regard to the environment.
