Public benefits
The benefits which flow from this purpose include the enhanced personal and social development of children and young people, leading to an improvement in their conditions of life as they make the difficult transition to adulthood. These benefits are evidenced through evaluations from users and staff reports that contribute to the charity’s annual
report. Our service is also subject to regular moderation visits and reports carried out by the Education Authority Youth Service and inspections by the Education Training Inspectorate which are open to public scrutiny. The charity’s benefits are for children and young people aged 8-25 years in the Portadown area, particularly those that are experiencing disadvantage. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose of our activity.
