Public benefits
The benefit that flows from this purpose is the promotion and adoption of a moral framework which encourages people attending services regularly to be good citizens. This is demonstrated through the provision of a place to worship with regular Sunday Services open to all who wish to attend, and through the provision of guidance and advice from the
appointed Minister and other speakers. We also provide religious services such as the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper (Communion). Services are open to all people to freely attend and participate in. Those participating in services and practices get an opportunity to improve their religious beliefs though interaction with others at the services and by personal reflection. There is increased social inclusion and community cohesion through pastoral / hospital visiting and care to all in our community. This is also achieved through a variety of Church activities. There is no obvious private benefit or harm arising from the purpose that has been highlighted to the organization.
... [more] [less]What your organisation does
We meet for the worship of God and the service of man, recognizing a Divine purpose in nature and human life, regarding Jesus Christ as the sole King and Head of the Church. We hold that scripture is the only rule of faith and Duty under the teaching of Christ. We accept the guidance of our reason and conscience and we believe that human creeds
and confessions restrict the sacred rights of private judgement which is a fundamental principle of the Reformation. Everyone is invited to attend our services of worship and explore our unique approach to faith
