Public benefits

The main purpose of Club Derry(Cumann Dhoire) is to help to broaden as far as possible access to Gaelic sports within the County of Derry in order to enhance participation and develop playing skills. We aim to assist schools, colleges as well as GAA clubs, coaches and any other group with an interest in developing Gaelic sports within Derry. Such

participation enhances the physical benefits to participants by way of healthy active participation in Gaelic sports. Participation also encourages sportsmanship, discipline and personal development at all levels. It also provides enjoyment to those spectating. The benefits are demonstrated through feedback from organisations such as the Derry County GAA, The Derry Ladies Gaelic Association, The Derry Camogie Association and Primary Schools together with individual clubs. The beneficiaries are the above organisations and people with an interest in Gaelic games. There is no harm flowing from the purpose and any private benefit is incidental.
