Public benefits

a) By encouraging participation in, and enjoyment of, the arts and in particular flute music we are providing them with the opportunity to socially engage and take part in worthwhile and developmental community activity. Through participation in activities such as rehearsals, concerts, parades, contests and church services in a safe environment we

improve life skills such as confidence, integration with people of all ages, inspiration and motivate inhabitants to continue to participate within the arts on a lifelong basis. There is no harm which flows from this purpose. b) To develop the skills of all participating members and volunteers; through taking part in rehearsals, concerts, parades, contests and church services we are improving the musical literacy of local people. Our volunteers also develop their own skills through communications, organising and co-ordinating activities of the organisation. These skills for both participants and volunteers can be transferred into other aspects of their life, be it academically or socially. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. c) To develop lifestyle issues and personal qualities of all participants; through engendering an ethos of respect, teamwork, equality and opportunities for all throughout our activities. Through providing a range of activities to improve the general health and wellbeing of members and volunteers. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. d) To provide a positive, safe and competitive environment to access and participate within the arts; through providing our members with opportunities to participate in rehearsals, concerts, parades, contests and church services we are providing a public benefit by promoting the arts and flute music moreover. This benefits participants through enhancing their psychological, professional and personal development. There is no harm flowing from this purpose.
