The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include: preparation of each child for primary education mastering the basic skills of expression, communication, problem solving, early mathematics, creativity, knowledge of the world around us, experimentation and exploration and physical development. the ability to relate to other children and

adults. These benefits are evidenced through interviews where there is a two way sharing of information between staff and parents/carers. where staff observations and progress reports are used to inform parent/carers. parental questionnaires to gain the opinion of parent/carers. this purpose does not give rise to any harm. To promote the public interest in, and recognition of the needs of the beneficiaries and their families in the local area. the direct benefits that flow from this purpose are: Parent/carers and staff avail of training, to gain a wider knowledge of the development and social needs and behaviours of children so that they can tailor their care and education programme according to the unique needs of every child. to promote equal opportunities for beneficiaries, parent/carers and staff and other interest people in the community. this benefit is evidenced through: parental questionnaires to gain the opinion of parent/carers parents/carers and other interested parties, represented on the management committee and other sub committees. community involvement and interest. This purpose does not give raise to any harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are: All children aged three to statutory school age, without distinction of age gender, martial status, disability sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion. No private benefit arises from this purpose.

The group is established to promote play based learning environments for all children under statutory school age (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) of Newcastle and its surrounding environs of county Down (hereinafter called the "area of benefit" without distinction of age, gender, martial status, disability, sexual orientation,

nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and health and well being.

Charitable purposes

3. Objects 3.1 The Group is established to promote play based learning environments for all children under statutory school age (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) of the area served Newcastle and its surrounding environs in County Down (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and in particular: to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group; and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries; and to support the values and principles of Early Years.
