The direct benefits flowing from their purposes include that the organisation facilitates those who wish to learn more about the Christian faith and assist in the moral and spiritual improvement of society through education about the Christian religion, teaching the particulars of Christian doctrine and offering assistance to churches. These benefits can be demonstrated by the improvement in the education of those being taught about the Christian faith and improving the practical circumstances of people helped in poverty and sickness. The charities beneficiaries are those people that have been assisted through the teaching that has been provided in the countries where BEE International has operated and also the recipients of practical help to alleviate poverty and sickness The only private benefit is received by Tom Lewis and his wife who have received sums of money to supplement an income given their involvement with BEE International. Charitable purposes

(1) To advance the Christian religion by assisting the local churches in Eastern European countries and the Soviet Union in the creation of indigenous church-based training centres in which leaders are equipped to establish growing and reproducing local churches. The various parts of this statement are defined as follows:- "Indigenous" means the training must be owned, controlled, staffed, contextualized and financed by nationals. The national church itself is best qualified to contextualize training for its own people. "Church-based" means church leaders are best trained in the context of actual ministry under the supervision and discipleship of experienced church leaders. This kind of training enhances the effectiveness of the instruction. "Centre" means the training is conducted in specific locations around the country. A "centre" will assume responsibility for the training of a new generation of pastors and church leaders for all the churches in a given denomination over a specified geographical area. Students who have completed BEE's core curriculum and its Advanced Training Studies programme will teach in and administer each centre. "Equip leaders" means all students will be trained under an educational philosophy which emphasizes equally: knowing, being and doing. Only those students who are approved by church leadership, who are discipling others and who are preparing for church leadership (e.g. church planter, missionary, pastor, house church leader, evangelist, theologian, elder/deacon, lay worker, etc.) will be permitted to enter and continue BEE training. “Growing” means a healthy church growing both in quality and in numbers. As gifted leaders equip the church to do the work of the ministry, the body naturally grows. In addition, the national church must equip men to plant new churches. (2) The relief of poverty and sickness of people in need in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union.
