Public benefits

The Trust meets the Public Benefit in the following way: Through the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. The Trust meets this charitable purpose through the provision of donations and other benefits to a number of charitable institutions, in particular those that

benefit, blind disabled and/or elderly persons in the United Kingdom. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the provision of specialist care, treatment and accommodation for those in need by reason of age, ill-health or disability. The donations are also used by the charitable institutions to provide specialist advice, support and equipment to those in need by reason of age, ill-health or disability. The charitable institutions to which the Trust makes donations benefit those in need by providing them with specialist care, treatment and accommodation which leads to an increase in their health and wellbeing and has an impact on society as a whole. The benefit is demonstrated through feedback from those charitable institutions to which the Trust makes donations and their beneficiaries and from regular evaluation of our services. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are those charitable institutions that the Trust makes donations to and in turn the beneficiaries of those institutions. There is no private benefit.
