The direct benefit that flows from the purposes is reduced social isolation by the group getting together. Also there is a better mental outlook for the people who attend and also advice is given in relation to their condition. This is demonstrated by the numbers attending. The beneficiaries are the blind and partially sighted people in the local

area and also their families. There is no harm or private benefit flowing from the purposes.

What your organisation does

Our organisation meets on a weekly basis to interact and engage with Blind and Partially sighted people in our local area where the group take part in various discussions on different topics that impact on the daily lives of people with sight loss. Bring in local speakers to talk on a number of health issues

Charitable purposes

The club is established for charitable purposes only, in particular, the club is established to: A. Provide opportunities for social inclusion and interaction, reducing the isolation of blindness,promoting self-help and independence, and thereby,enhancing the quality of life for blind and partially sighted people in the Club. B. To recruit and train sighted volunteers with revlevant skills to carry out objects of the club and act as sighted guides. C. To co-operate in the achievement of the above objects with any other organisation, stautory or voluntary having objects similar to those of the Club.
