Purpose - To assist in the development of a range of community development activities and resources to benefit the inhabitants of Larne Town area. The public benefit which flows from this is that the inhabitants of Larne town will have access to the services provided by Larne Community Development Project. The services include; • Use of our

local community resource facility for meetings and training • Photocopying • Administration Services • Paye • Signposting • Advice and Guidance on Community Development • Funding Searches • Networking Opportunities for Community Leader and Development Workers • Facilitation of meetings between community representatives and statutory organisations This benefit will be evidenced by User Group feedback, records of people accessing the services and all meetings will be recorded. The beneficiaries of the services offered are the inhabitants of Larne Town. This purpose does not lead to harm. A private benefit is that the Trustees may gain training which may be of use in other areas of their life, however this benefit is incidental and necessary in order to offer the best service we can.

Larne Community Development Projects provides guidance, assistance and support to the community/voluntary sector in Larne Town by providing access to information about grants and funding, assistance in filling grant application forms, admin support, training and access to a community resource facility for meetings and training.

Charitable purposes

To assist in the development of a range of community development activities and resources to benefit the inhabitants of the Larne Town area (herein referred to the area of benefit). This work will be carried out within the area o9f benefit and be accessible to all residents regardless of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. It will be promoted by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the local inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide support to meet the needs of the residents with emphasis on children and young people, women and disabled, social welfare and unemployment with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
