Public benefits

The purpose of Manna Ministries is the advancement of Christianity among the evangelical Christian church or people of evangelical descent in Northern Ireland and in particular, without distinction of Christian denomination, age, and gender or ethnic identity and ancillary to this:- a) to support or promote charitable works for the relief of

poverty, the aged or disability, or for the relief of people suffering from the effects of natural disasters or the effects of conflicts in any part of the world. The direct benefits flowing from this purpose include providing support to those who are in need of assistance, relieving the needs of those who are in hardship and poverty and offering an alternative lifestyle and a sense of hope to those who have lost all hope. These benefits can be demonstrated by feedback received from those who Manna Ministries have helped on how their situation has been changed for the better and publications in newsletters and magazines on the work of Manna Ministries. b) Promotion of the Christian Gospel. The direct benefits flowing from this purpose include offering an alternative lifestyle and a sense of hope to those who have lost all hope, changing lives through the Christian outreach work and strengthening the Evangelical faith. These benefits can be demonstrated by the feedback from people whose lives have been changed from the work of Manna Ministries and from repeat requests to Manna Ministries for assistance from those in need. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries in Northern Ireland are those who are in need as a result of the conflict. The charity’s beneficiaries internationally are those who have been deprived of an education and those in need or poverty. There are no private benefits flowing from the purposes.

What your organisation does

We are a literature and media based Ministry providing Bible based information to those who are unable to access such help. We also forward practical assistance to communities in the Philippines. We are periodically involved in a feeding program for street children also in the Philippines. Faith Mission Bookshops provide overstock that is no longer

commercial for our outreach, which we then at our cost ship to the Philippines for distribution free of charge.
