We will look to establish the charity at home in Northern Ireland and grow to work with other organisations such as the African Bicycle Project over the coming years. Other groups would include those who have the opportunity to advance their health/mental health and wellbeing. Men, women and children of all ages will benefit through organised cycle events and bicycle maintenance workshops.

mellowVELO Pedal4Life will be working along with the local council to refresh bikes rescued from the amenity sites. These bikes will be refurbished and prepared for sale to provide affordable transport in Northern Ireland. We will also be working along with partners in Africa eg. Village Bicycle Project where we will ship bikes to those in need
further afield. By reusing and refurbishing the bikes from the amenity sites mellowVELO Pedal4Life reduce the total amount of bicycle waste reaching landfill. We will also be upcycling all the old parts such as chains, spokes and tubes into items such as belts, wallets and trophies. mellowVELO Pedal4Life will organise group rides to raise money to help refurbish the bikes and provide money to other cycling related charities in the region. We will be working along with other community groups locally to enhance and promote health and cycle safety. All of the activities that mellowVELO Pedal4Life are involved with will provide volunteer opportunities so that local people are able to gain experience in cycling and also meet other like minded people.
