Public benefits

The trustees believe that our purpose satisfies both elements of the public benefit element. The direct benefit which flows from our purpose is enhanced opportunities for our pupils to gain knowledge and skills and to participate in a wider range of activities. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from pupils, parents and evaluation by

teachers within the school. In providing equipment and travel there is an increased risk of accidents but this is very rare and the benefits far outweigh the risk. The beneficiaries of our purpose are the pupils of the school. A private benefit flowing from our purpose is that gained by the organisations from which equipment or services are purchased. This is necessary to the achievement of our purpose.
