The direct benefit which flows from purpose 1 is improved home and school relationships. We keep communication between home and school open by inviting parents to every meeting and AGM, leaflets informing parents of events, articles in the school newsletter and letters home thanking parents for their support and generosity. These benefits can be demonstrated through the events we hold that are well attended, replies back from letters asking for help and the support we receive for each event. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 2 is the children learning about a range of different topics from external agencies i.e. healthy eating from Subway and exercise from Belfast Giants. During these talks children are also encouraged to ask questions and discuss the topics. For example, it has encouraged some children to eat healthy lunches and breaks and to exercise more. This purpose does not lead to harm.
