CRI believe in the education of children and adults to help them understand the importance of recycling and by doing this reduce the tonnage of waste going to landfill. CRI works with local school and community to help children understand the need and important of recycling, we do this education and also given money to the organisation for their
support in recycling of goods. By taking waste away from landfill if helps reduce the carbon footprint of NI. Each week CRI on average recycles 25 tons of good that a total of 1,300 tons a year. This clothing is sold to other parts of the world, who then sell or give it to those in need the only harm is this this may have a negative effect on their local new cloths retails. CRI gives cloths and other good donated to them to the local community of Dungclug this is done free of charge and main though their connections with SVP. Each year CRI donates the value of 5k to the local people used clothing. CRI supports training and workplace for the long term unemployed.
