A particular interest of the Trust is to support community and charitable groups that work in north Belfast, to improve peoples' life skills and general well being. Duals aims of the Trust are to promote personal growth that enables individuals to make informed life choices and to encourage their positive engagement with the communities in which

they live. There is no private benefit or harm.

What your organisation does

The Trust will consider support for a wide range of activities across North Belfast and will allocate funds to local community groups and registered charities. Grants may vary in size between £500 and £5000, being the larger occasional grant made on an exceptional basis.

Charitable purposes

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland without political distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together with said inhabitants and local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
