The Ladies of Mourne is a women's group that meets once per month in the rural area of Dunnaval in South County Down. We formed last year, and to date we have run a variety of activities for the benefit of women aged from their 20s to their late 80s in our rural area. Typically we have around 30 women attending each session. We have recently
drawn down funding to run a community/pharmacy partnership focusing on educating and informing women on a variety of health issues that they themselves have identified as important. We have also run arts and crafts events, social outings, dance nights, dine-in nights and more.
