Public benefits

The direct benefits that flow from this purpose are the breaking down of social isolation, enhancing the independence and improving the quality of life of people with a learning disability. These benefits are evidenced through the number of people using and being referred for accommodation and the feedback received from clients and their

families. Our service involves the provision of residential, respite and supported housing accommodation which meets the legislative requirements of both the Registration and Quality Improvement Authority and Houses of Multiple Occupation. The Trustees have undertaken an organisational Risk Assessment that shows there is no harm or potential harm in relation to the purpose. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose of our organisation. Beneficiaries of Mainstay DRM are people with a learning disability and their carers.
