To provide Piping and Drumming Tuition in the Corkley area. The direct benefit is that people will learn new skills, improve existing skills and build self confidence. Corkley and the surrounding area. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that individuals many transfer their skills to other settings. To promote Ulster Scots Traditions and culture associated with Pipe Band music. The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is that people will be empowered to learn about the Ulster Scots Tradition and Culture. This is demonstrated through feedback from community and their attendance at events. There is no harm connected with this benefit. Charitable purposes

Corkley Pipe Band aims to bring Pipe Band music into Corkley and the surrounding area for the people of the area to enjoy. Corkley Pipe band also encourages people to have the opportunity to learn to play the pipes and drums and to be part of the Band. New members are welcome in order to keep up the pipe band tradition that has been established in Corkley and is well respected and cherished. Corkley Pipe Band actively promotes all Ulster Scots traditions and culture and in particular pipe band music.
