Restoration Ministries is a faith driven organisation that aims to restore and strengthen broken person and broken society through prayer, listening, hospitality and teaching. It is non-denominational and the House is open to all in need, as stated on our website. Over the years we have quietly continued to be present to individuals from diverse
backgrounds who need someone to listen and to pray. Running parallel to this work we have also, through various events, lectures, group work and hospitality provided opportunities for people to meet one another and to build friendships, believing that it is through relationships that attitudes change. The benefits are demonstrated through regular evaluation of the services and informal and ad-hoc feedback to the Board of Directors from members, users of our services and programmes, and members of the public. We do not believe that there is any potential harm arising from the activities of Restoration Ministries. The services of Restoration Ministries are open to all members of the public. The public benefits include healing and restoring people and communities which have been broken particularly during the “Troubles”, reconciling people from different communities in Northern Ireland, building peace in Ireland through the development of deeper relationships, teaching people about God, raising awareness of applying Biblical teaching to daily life and providing Christian hospitality to the public as an example to others. The golden thread running through our story is always prayer and arising out of that, a continually growing awareness of the challenges that beckon as we seek to be part of the world wide family of God in all its diversity. We hope to see others develop a ministry of restoration among those with emotional wounds and scars that everyone carries with them, both immediate and ancestral. As a group of ordinary people from different church and social backgrounds we believe that through joining together we can see our communities transformed for the better.

We offer spiritual direction in an atmosphere of prayer and confidentiality, and providing accompaniment in your spiritual journey on a one to one basis. We provide you with a listening ear, prayers for healing, space and time for reflection and a place where people can tell their story and be heard. We offer everyone a safe, warm, secure place to
be themselves. We provide weekly prayers, which is an open house, with no appointment necessary. Although we do not offer a counselling service we can provide two members of the ministry team, with counselling skills and a wide spiritual experience.
