Public benefits
The trustees believe that both our purposes satisfy elements of the public benefit requirement. The direct benefits which flow from purpose one includes direct input and responsibility for the running of the group, by a committee of parents/careers of children attending the group. These benefits are evidenced through constructive feedback via
annual questionnaires from the parents and the comments book at the reception area and regular independent evaluation of our services by Early Years Organisation. The trained staff, also produce a monthly bulletin for the parents/carers to update them on that months activities. In providing a healthy environment the group promotes healthy eating via weekly food plans following the food standards guidelines for pre-school children, and encouraging outdoor physical play as an essential part of the children’s daily routine. The beneficiaries of this purpose are pre-school children living in the surrounding areas of Dunloy. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose. The direct benefits which flow from purpose two are evidenced as members of the Early Years organisation we adhere to their values in the development of the children in our care and in the regular contact with our early year’s specialist. This is also evidenced in the regular training promoted by early year’s organisation which aids in the curriculum planning and promoting of the six areas of early preschool education allowing each child to develop at their own pace with support from staff using all the groups resources. The beneficiaries of this purpose are pre-school children living in the surrounding areas of Dunloy. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.
