Public benefits

The purpose of Freedom Church NI will be to carry out the general work of a New Testament church. This will include the following: To provide a place of worship for those of Christian faith, and for those embarking on the Christian faith. To educate adults and children on the Christian faith through Bible teaching, religious literature, CD media

and the internet etc. To promote a message of truth, righteousness, godliness and benefits of Christian living. To provide pastoral care and support to anyone who requires it whether members or non-members of Freedom Church NI. To reach out to those of non-Christian faith by means of preaching, one to one conversation, gospel tracts, CD media and the internet etc. To be a beacon of light and hope in a world of darkness and despair. To carry out Christian charitable deeds such as giving to those in financial need and helping people in practical Christian demonstration. The benefits of the above purposes are self-explanatory and the overall outcome will be for people to experience the power of the resurrected Christ in their lives. There is no harm that should arise from the outlined purposes, as no harm should come from a church that acts in accordance with New Testament doctrine. The work will be based upon a “whosoever will may come” basis. This means that a beneficiary will be anyone who is willing to receive of the message and ministry of the church. The overall work will be directed to the general public. The ministry and services offered by the church will be done free of charge. The geographical area would be mostly local but not necessarily restricted to the local area. Freedom Church NI also encourages cross-community relations in the sense that through Christ people can experience peace and reconciliation, as divisions and traditions that once separated become obsolete at the cross. The Church believes that anyone can be saved through Jesus Christ our Lord and attempts will be made and opportunities given for non-Christians to convert to Christ and his teachings. A private benefit of the work would be a financially supported minister which is incidental and necessary to the continued work of the church.
