All of these activities support the work of the group and provide a mutual benefit for all. These benefits can be demonstrated through consultation from members of the group and through other feedback and evaluation exercises from other groups and participating members throughout the planning and delivery of all activities. The possibility of harm through events organised by the society is outweighed through the many benefits the society has to community well being, public confidence, social inclusion and community involvement. The risks are also reduced by training in areas such as child protection, health and safety, event management, vulnerable adults, equality and discrimination. Policies are in place such as Child Protection Policy, Volunteer Policy, Equality Policy and Risk Assessment methods.
