At Ballygowan Community Playgroup we aim to advance the development of the child and to provide a safe and satisfying way of learning through play in a parent involved community-based group. We believe all children should be valued, stimulated, encouraged and listened to, in order to help each child reach their full potential through growth in
confidence and self-esteem. We aim to work within a framework that ensures equality of opportunity for all children and their families. We follow a curriculum which is underpinned by Guidance from The Education Authority(NI)- formerly Dept. Of Education and by observing the children and evaluating previous activities we provide resources to challenge and extend learning, enabling each child to develop and progress across the six areas of learning.
