Public benefits

Relief of sickness and preservation of health amongst children in Romania and throughout the world suffering from HIV or AIDS by the provision of accommodation, medical services and other facilities for their relief. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: (i) Improvement in the general physical and mental health of children,

young people and adults with HIV and AIDS and their families/ carers in Romania. (ii) Improvement in the understanding of their disease and the precautions to be taken to prevent the infection of others. These benefits are evidenced through the increasing number of children, young people and adults with HIV/ AIDS referred to our services from the infectious diseases hospitals and the increasing number of HIV/AIDS sufferers who self present to our day centre. Our organisation provides: - A day centre where HIV/ AIDS sufferers can meet. - Dental care and treatment for HIV/ AIDS sufferers. Teaching them how to care for their teeth, treating decay and the provision of veneers and dentures. - One to one counselling and group session counselling in our day centre. - Provision of food and health information at our day centre. The possibility of harm of infection of non HIV/ AIDS individuals is minimised by stringent hygiene, cleaning and the use of personal protective equipment in our dental clinic. Our staff are vaccinated against other diseases that our client may have e.g. tuberculosis, hepatitis. There is no private benefit from this purpose of our organisation. The advancement of education of said sufferers. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: (i) Improvement in the understanding of HIV/ AIDS sufferers in Romania about their disease and the precautions to be taken to prevent the infection of others. (ii) By improving the general physical health of children and young people with HIV/ AIDS in Romania they do not need to take as much time off school due to illness. (iii) Improvement in the understanding of HIV/ AIDS sufferers in Romania of how to take care of their teeth. These benefits are evidenced through (i) The increasing number of children, young people and adults with HIV/ AIDS using our services. (ii) Improved school attendance of our clients who are of school age. Our organisation provides: - Health and dental information at our day centre. The possibility of harm of infection of non HIV/ AIDS individuals is minimised by hand care hygiene and avoidance of contact with body fluids. If contact is necessary e.g. cleaning up vomit, protective clothing is used. Our staff are vaccinated against other diseases that our client may have e.g. tuberculosis, hepatitis. There is no private benefit from this purpose of our organisation. The advancement of the Christian faith. The direct benefit which flows from this purpose includes providing HIV/AIDS sufferers in Romania the opportunity to worship God as the majority of churches in Romania do not welcome sufferers at their services. This benefit is evidenced through the number of HIV/ AIDS sufferers attending the weekly worship service in our day centre. Our organisation provides: - A weekly worship service in our day centre. - Bible study and discussion sessions. The possibility of harm of infection of non HIV/ AIDS individuals is minimised by hand care hygiene and avoidance of contact with body fluids. If contact is necessary protective clothing is used. Our staff are vaccinated against other diseases that our client may have e.g. tuberculosis, hepatitis. There is no private benefit from this purpose of our organisation.

Our organisation provides dental care and treatment for HIV/ AIDS sufferers. We provide one to one counselling and group session counselling. We provide food and information at our day centre. In impoverished areas we provide food, medicines and clothing. The possibility of harm of infection of non HIV/AIDS individuals is minimised by stringent
