The public benefits include access to education and appreciation of art , reduced isolation and promotion of well being for people over 55 years in the Portglenone & surrounding rural areas. The advancement of education by providing art classes and encourage appreciation of art in the Portglenone community, the benefit will include increased

access to art tuition for over 55 year olds living in Portglenone and surrounding rural area. This will be demonstrated through attendance, feedback from participants and creation of art work for a yearly display . There will be no harm flowing from this activity. Promote preservation and protection of health among older people by providing the facility for older people to socialise through art classes .This will be demonstrated through attendance at classes and feedback from participants. There will be no harm flowing from this activity. There is no private benefit

Charitable purposes

The association is established for the advancement of education and to promote the preservation and promote the preservation and protection of health among older people aged 55 or over)( hereinafter called the beneficiaries) in Portglenone and its surrounding environs (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") by the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people and in particular to: a) to promote the arts among older people in the area of benefit; b))encourage appreciation for and participation in community-based arts activities among older people in the area of benefit;)
