The direct benefits that flow from purpose one include the promotion of socializing and breaking through isolation among the elderly and those in need in the Dungannon District and surrounding areas. These benefits are evidenced through feedback we receive from our members and there families and friends and by the increasing number of people that

are being sent by social services. there is no harm or private benefit from this purpose. The direct benefits that flow from purpose two is providing the elderly and those in need with the tools they need in there every day life to help them feel safe and secure in there own home. This benefit is evidenced through feed back from our members and there family and friends. There is no harm or private benefit from this purpose. The direct benefit that flows from purpose three is the promotion of the need to stay healthy and to keep mobile for as long as possible . This benefit is evidenced through feed back from our members and their families and friends along with speaking to people from the medical community to verify what we are doing is right. There is no harm or private benefit flowing from this purpose . The beneficiaries of these purposes are the elderly and those in need in the Dungannon and surrounding areas.

What your organisation does

Age Care provides a number of service that our open to all members of the public not just or club member regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability/ability, race, political, religious or other opinion. We are constantly trying to come up with new ideas to improve on our services that we provide with ideas such as gardening clubs, writing

clubs and arts and crafts.

Charitable purposes

The Charity is established to provide social and recreational facilities, to advance education and to promote the preservation and protection of health among older people and those in need in Dungannon district and its environs of Co Tyrone without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race, ability/disability, political, religious belief or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreational or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.
