Purpose 1: The Prevention or Relief of Poverty: The diect benefits flowing from this purpose include increased access to employment, education and training and welfare advice and a reduction in social exclusion. These benefits will be demonstrated by recording the numbers of people who access our service and measuring these against the targets
established in our annual action plan. There is no harm that can be discerned as flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries are the people of the Glen and City area of County Derry and its environs who suffer from social exclusion, are in poverty or at risk of poverty. Purpose 2: The Advancement of Health or the Saving of Lives: The diect benefits flowing from this purpose include increased access to healthy living advice, health and fitness activities, complementary therapies, improved mental health, the provision of a safe environment and space for parents and young children to play and interact with other parents and children. These benefits will be demonstrated by recording the numbers of people who access our service and measuring these against the targets established in our annual action plan. There is no harm that can be discerned as flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries are the people of the Glen and City area of County Derry and its environs who suffer from social exclusion, are in poverty or at risk of poverty. There is no private benefit which flows from any of our activities.

To relieve poverty and sickness and provide facilities to our community our group works with the Glen Development Initiave and the Outer West Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership to deliver a range of services to the local community, including capacity building, classes, training, social events and a range of healthy life style opprtunities such as
health awareness sessions.
