a) The benefit is for all within the Carrickfergus area and its environs. It is for the public at large and those for reasons for their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or their social and economic circumstances, are welcome to come to and partake in the services and activities of Carrickfergus Community Church which includes weekly
services and other gatherings, for members and non-members, including activities for the young and old, to present the teachings of the Bible and to provide opportunities for Christian response, including but not limited to prayer and worship. The provision of the religious and social activities leads to increased opportunities for all in the area through a shared space to support and develop the well-being of inhabitants. The benefits are demonstrated through an improved quality of life and wellbeing, including the encouragement of family stability and increased social interaction. This purpose does not lead to harm. This benefit is incidental and benefit, the meetings and activities are free of charge and open to all. b)The benefit is for all within the Carrickfergus area, its environs and further afield as decided by the trustees. It is for the public at large and those for reasons for their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or their social and economic circumstances, are welcome to come to and partake in the services and activities of Carrickfergus Community Church The provision of the religious, and social activities leads to increased opportunities for all, not only providing an understanding of the Christian beliefs as set out in the church’s Statement of Faith but also through support and guidance which is used to enable members to be better able to serve in the local community. The church provides teaching and training opportunities, and provides resources and people of the church to support activities for all to avail of and gain from. Through the development of relationships with other churches locally, nationally and overseas, a greater reach is possible, increased learning results and collaboration is accessible through events and activities. The benefits are demonstrated through an improved quality of life and wellbeing, including spiritual wellbeing, the encouragement of family stability, tackling poverty, increased knowledge, reducing social isolation, increased social interaction and provision of activities for the young and old. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes seeking and raising funds for essential resources and amenities to reach out to those living in Carrickfergus, its environs and further afield to provide activities for everyone to enjoy and take part in and through increased volunteer activity growing their skills and abilities. This purpose does not lead to harm. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries, there is no private benefit. c) The benefit is for the public at large and those for reasons for their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty of their social and economic circumstances, are welcome to come to and partake in activities run in the Church. The provision of the Church for religious and social activities leads to increased opportunities for all in the area through a shared space to support and develop the well-being inhabitants. The benefits are demonstrated through an improved quality of life for the inhabitants of the area and increased social interaction. This purpose does not lead to harm. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.

Our activities include but are not limited to: Weekly Youth and children’s activities, weekly Parent and Toddler club, Bi-monthly Over 60’s meetings and Summer Scheme for children and youth. Food collection for distribution to needy. Missionary offering to support local and worldwide missionaries and organisations. Money Management courses with
Debt counselling through Christians Against Poverty CAP. Counselling services to those in the community. We hold 2 Sunday services open to all and free of charge with crèche and Sunday School provided for all children up to the age of 14. Also midweek house groups for adults and youth. Carrickfergus Community Church is a member of Evangelical Alliance, International Gospel Outreach and Associated Ministers Fellowship which enables us to be part of a greater work both in our area and worldwide. All our activities are advertised on our website and social media and are open to all in the community.
