Public benefits
To promote the well-being and mental health of those aged 50 plus in a twenty mile catchment area of the Windyhall Estate in Coleraine by providing a safe meeting place for socialising thereby preventing social isolation in a semi-rural area. The Club provides a number of activities which create a sense of togetherness among the beneficiaries and
creates the opportunity to share experiences and learn new skills. The beneficiaries also receive information through the Forum on a number of issues such as crime prevention, health and well-being, benefits, information on housing etc. thereby greatly reducing anxiety amongst those person aged 50+. It also promotes volunteering opportunities and ensures that beneficiary’s views and concerns are raised and addressed with local statutory and voluntary agencies which help to improve the services and facilities for the public benefit. The benefits can be measured by the attendance at events and by completed evaluation forms which demonstrate the enjoyment and success of events which the Club run. There are no private benefits and no harm.

Charitable purposes
The Club is established to: 3.1 Relieve poverty and sickness for persons aged fifty plus in the area of benefit without distinction of gender, race, political or religious opinion by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for said inhabitants. 3.2 Promote the advancement of community development and active citizenship for the public benefit of persons aged fifty plus in the area of benefit through the delivery of positive community events, the provision of volunteering opportunities and through regular contact and meetings with local statutory and voluntary agencies to improve the services and facilities for the public benefit.
