Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from the purposes to your beneficiaries (rather than a statement of your activities) By spreading the Christian gospel by radio and internet broadcasting, those who hear are presented with a moral and spiritual message which can lead to a better way of life including reconciliation and peacemaking among the various
tribes and communities. By training pastors, evangelists and other indigenous workers and providing books and other material they receive an education which better equips them to carry out their responsibilities and to help those in their care. By providing diaconal aid, work is provided, life skills are taught, better methods of production are introduced and food and water are provided for those who would otherwise be destitute. How the direct benefits are capable of being demonstrated Independent auditors tell us that over 4 million people in the Middle East and North Africa regularly listen to our Arabic radio broadcasts. We receive emails and text messages from our listeners, requesting bibles and asking questions, and we are constantly receiving feedback from our interactive social media programmes. Interactive teaching methods and examinations provide evidence that our teaching courses are effective. Those whom we train return to their own churches to teach many thousands of people. Indigenous churches, from whom we receive our students, commend our courses and encourage their members to come. Diaconal aid is channelled through local agents who report regularly on the distribution of aid. Whether any harms may arise from the purposes and how these are outweighed by the benefits. While we do all we can to present the Christian message with cultural sensitivity in a loving and positive manner, occasionally those who receive the message will meet with opposition. Where opposition is severe we undertake to assist with our Diaconal Aid programme. What, if any, private benefits there are and how are these incidental to the carrying on of the purposes. None Whether fees are charged to beneficiaries in order to use services and how you ensure the poor are not excluded. No fees are charged
