Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: improved physical, mental and emotional capacities through improved good / community relations, education, training, health and well-being outcomes, and reduced levels of social isolation, stress and anxiety, through the promotion of leisure time activities, recreation, education and
training. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from beneficiaries and attendees at our events, classes and activities using: evaluation forms, surveys, verbal feedback, and evaluation of our activities. There is no harm anticipated from this purpose. The charity’s beneficiaries are primarily the inhabitants of the rural areas of Pomeroy and Donaghmore villages and the surrounding hinterland within the council areas of Cookstown and Dungannon in Mid Ulster. A private benefit to Trustees and members may arise from our ongoing services and programmes of arts, educational, leisure and recreational activities: information, training, events, and networking visits. Through this, Trustees gain services, cultural awareness, leisure activities, information, skills, and experience which are transferable to other settings, and which may benefit their own community group or area. Our own Trustees receive information, services and activities in the same way as other beneficiaries, and are assigned support, information and services in the same ways as other beneficiaries. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

The club meets every Friday night to interact socially, play games and arrange outings and other events. Every year towards the end of the season a tournament is held when all members compete against each other for trophies. They play each other in Table tennis, table football, pool, air hockey and various board and computer games. Prizes are
presented at the end of season BBQ. Throughout the year outings are held for example to the local leisure centre and Airtastic, followed by McDonalds. Guests are invited to give talks and share knowledge and experiences, i.e. a local ice-cream making business and a planned mini-medics course giving life skills.
