Public benefits

New Dawn Evangelical Fellowship seeks to promote the advancement of charitable activities for the benefit of the public in accordance with the following doctrines: • the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ mainly, but not exclusively, by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature. • To advance the Gospel

of Jesus Christ in Broughshane, Ballymena and the surrounding areas for the benefit of the public though the holdng of prayer meetings, bible studies, childrens meetings, youth activities, public celebrations of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on the Gospel of Jesus Christ to enlighten others about the Christian religion. The direct benefits which flow from our purpose include • the adoption of a moral framework which encourages people to be good citizens • the provision of a safe, caring environment for children and young people locally • the provision of a supportive network to the lonely, elderly and bereaved in the local community, • supporting other charities including donations to Women’s Aid, a Christmas Shoe box appeal for local children, the Prison fellowship, Watoto Child Care ministries, Kids for Schools and Children in Need. These benefits are evidenced through • positive reviews on our social media sites, • improved behaviour of the local youth as a result of being involved in a youth organisation promoting living according to Christain principles, • the increasing numbers of people attending our various services and events and the feedback received from them. The purpose of our charity does not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are members of the fellowship, their families and friends and the wider community who attend our services and events, including young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the elderly, lonely, bereaved and those who are suffering from addictions to drugs and alcohol. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.

What your organisation does

New Dawn Evangelical Fellowship is a Christian organisation that seeks to provide worship and activities for the good of anyone who would wish to be a part of them. New Dawn is committed to working with those who are part of the Fellowship itself but also with the wider community. We are based in a community facility for our Worship times and

other activities. We are committed to seeking to be a help and encouragement both spiritually and practically to all those who live in the surrounding area.
