THE DIRECT BENEFITS WHICH FLOW FROM THIS PURPOSE INCLUDE REDUCED ISOLATION AMONG PEOPLE LIVING ALONE, THE ELDERY PEOPLE, PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY OR INFIRMITY, INCREASED SOCIAL INTERACTION, INCREASED SELF CONFIDENCE, IMPROVED SKILLS AND ACCESS TO QUALIFICATIONS, INCREASED HEALTH AND WELL BEING, BUILD TRUST AND MUTAL UNDERSTANDING. A VENUE IN THE

AREA OF LISNAGLEER IS PROVIDED AS A SUITABLE ENVIROMENT FOR ALL SUCH ORGANISED ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND COURSES FOR OUR BENEFICIARIES. BENEFITS CAN BE EVIDENCED THROUGH FEEDBACK FROM BENEFICIARES, COURSE EVALUATION FORMS, WORD OF MOUTH, PHOTOGRAPHS, RETURN VISITS, ATTENDANCE RECORDS SHEETS, AND SELF EVALUATION FOR FUNDERS; THIS PURPOSE DOES NOT LEAD TO HARM. THE BENEFICIARIES ARE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE LISNAGLEER AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS. A PRIVATE BENEFIT MIGHT ARISE WHERE A TRUSTEE GAINS SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE THROUGH COURSES ORGANISED AT THE CENTRE, THESE SKILLS ARE TRANSFERABLE HOWEVER THE TRUSTEE ENROLS ON THE COURSE AS DOES A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC. THIS BENEFIT IS INCIDENTAL AND NECESSARY TO ENSURE THE BENEFIT IS PROVIDED TO OUR BENEFICIARIES

What your organisation does

Our Organisation yearly plan events to encourage those people living in low income, lone parents, isolation, disabled, and elderly to take part in events/activities on a daily,weekly and monthly basis. Our organisation was established and voiced by the local community expressing the need for them to have involvement and ownership in events and

projects. Our Building has had refurbishment work to make it more attractive and equipped to meet our planned events/activities.

Charitable purposes

The Group is established to relieve poverty and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Lisnagleer area and its environs (hereinafter called the 'area of benefit') without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, class, marital status, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary and community sector organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, promote rural regeneration, and to provide facilities in the interests of building community capacity, social welfare, for recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and including the maintenance and management of a premises in the area of benefit for activities promoted by the Group (hereinafter called 'the Hall').
