The direct benefit which flows from our purpose shall be the relief of poverty in Romania by the allocation of funds, provisions or any other aid which is deemed to be helpful to those who are in need. The benefits of Friends for Romania will be demonstrated through the submission of an annual report and financial accounts to the Charities
Commission for NI. Regular feedback from the administrators of relevant institutions within Romania will be recorded, monitored and evaluated. The beneficiaries of this purpose of Friends for Romania will be those individuals and institutions in Romania whom we identify as in need of our assistance. Teachers from supporting schools who regularly travel to Romania will identify, monitor and update the list of beneficiaries. The identification process will not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, ethnic identity, nationality, disability, sexuality, religion or political affiliation. None of the purposes of Friends for Romania are harmful. There is no private benefit flowing from our purposes.

Friends for Romania receives donations from supporting schools and other donors and applies funds to carry out the work of the charity. We also co-operate with and support other charities with similar purpose.
