Public benefits
(a) Club members as beneficiaries are more informed about the benefits to their health and wellbeing by taking part in a range of physical activity and healthy eating programmes. (b) The Club provides a range of physical activities and leisure time opportunities including boccia, new age curling, physical exercise programmes for adults with
physical and / or sensory disabilities. We also provide a range of health and wellbeing programmes including Cook it!, healthy cooking and eating and yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation. (c) The Club provides an opportunity for members to meet each other, build confidence, participate with others with similar needs and share experiences in an inclusive environment where everyone feels equal. At the end of each activity an evaluation form is completed by members taking part. Each person is assessed before taking part in activities to ensure they are suitable. Risk assessments are carried out. The coaches are fully trained e.g. Active Communities Coaches (Disability NI). The beneficiaries of the Club are the members who attend club activities and pay membership fees. Family members/Carers can also benefit as it gives them an opportunity for respite when the person they care for and support is taking part in Club activities. The Club is open to all members of the Fit 4 U project, which is a Trust supported programme. Members are adults with physically and / or sensory impairment. There is no private benefit for any member.

The Club specifically targets adults who have physical and or sensory disabilities, who experience disadvantage, social isolation and inequalities in health. We provide a range of physical activity opportunities for adults with physical and or sensory disabilites. We provide activities including boccia, new age Kurling and days out. We also
invite speakers from a range of organisations including the local council, the health trust and local community/voluntary sector organisations. The Club specifically targets people with long term conditions/disabilites abd more than 50% of members are over 65.

Charitable purposes
The Club is established for charitable purposes only, in particular, the Club is established to:- a) Provide the advancement of health and wellbeing among adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities. b) Provide opportunities for physical activity and leisure opportunities for adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities. c) Provide opportunities for social inclusion and interaction, reducing the isolation, promoting self-help and independence, and thereby, enhancing the quality of life for people with physical and/or sensory disabilities.
