Purposes and public benefit: The Dojo Juniors is a registered, not for profit, charity. The Charity is for the advance of amateur sport by the provision of support and assistance to enable and encourage participation to anyone in ju-jitsu and other health martial arts sports. In particular for the practice of amateur martial arts within the
Ballymena area and its environs, without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, identity, political or religious opinion by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants of the area of benefit. The direct benefit that flows from this purpose include improved health outcomes, increased fitness levels and trained in amateur martial arts as a result of participating in amateur sports training. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from participants and regular evaluation of services. Feedback regarding participants level of fitness will also be collected. There is a possibility for harm to occur whilst participating in the charity's purpose. This harm is accidental and occurs rarely, and the benefit outweighs the harm. The charity's beneficiaries are the people within the Ballymena area and its environs without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, identity, political or religious opinion. Also associated statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants of the area of benefit. However, since it is a 'junior' charity, it primarily works to benefit those under 18 years old. Private benefit by a trustee who also has a child who participates in the activities, projects or programmes ran by the charity. This trustee applies for and is assigned a place in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Another private benefit to trustees may arise from our ongoing training for skills and good practice. This training will provide trustees with skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

The Dojo Juniors is a junior amateur ju-jitsu and mixed martial arts charity. The aims of the charity are to advance amateur sport in the area of Ballymena and its surrounding environs. The charity is open to people of all backgrounds and abilities, however it is primarily a charity to benefit under 18's. The charity provides young people in the
Ballymena area with amateur sports training in the identified fields. It does so on an amateur basis with professional coaches. The charity has been started to get children, young adults off the streets and into marital arts. The aim is to make it accessible to all people, regardless of their social economic background or abilities. The coaches will work with young people of all abilities, including young people from a disabled background. Young people will learn with The Dojo Juniors traditional marital arts and ju-jitsu, which provides a variety of benefits to students young and old alike. The Junior section aims to support young people through a variety of charitable means. The charity will respond to local need and aim to support the community through a variety of projects, activities and programmes. The benefits of martial arts include, physical exercise, physical and mental balance, self discipline, concentration, positive attitude, rejection of violence and personal safety.
