Public benefits
Improved relationships between home and school - the benefits which flow from this purpose include funding for additional resources for the school and links built with the local community. This is demonstrated through having an active PTA that works in partnership with the school and engages parental support. This purpose does not lead to harm. The
benefit is for children at Fullerton House Preparatory school. The trustees (PTA committee members) are always parents of pupils at the school, and hence enjoy the benefits mentioned above in the same way as all other beneficiaries. The trustees maintain that it is necessary to ensure these benefits are provided to all beneficiaries on an incidental basis. Fullerton House PTA raise money via events held throughout the year, in order to purchase resources for the school that are not typically covered by school budgets. The events range from seasonal "get-togethers" and fairs, to sponsored events that the children and parents take part in, both separately and together.
