Public benefits

The public Benefits which flow from our church purpose are as follows. By attenders gaining a knowledge of Christian teaching and morals, by providing a sense of belonging to an welcoming and friendly fellowship, by offering comfort and counselling to those in need and by giving donation to various Missionary and charity works. These benefits are

evidenced through both numbers attending our church and feedback received from those in attendance as well as Missionary and charity recipients. There is no harm flowing from our church purpose. The churches beneficiaries are church attenders and the whole local community as the church is very pro-active in the local area, and also those Missionaries and charities which receive donations. There is only one private benefit flowing from our church purpose and that is the salary of our church Minister. This is incidental and necessary because this full time post is required to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

We are a proactive community based church engaged in various weekly, monthly and annual activities. Our goal is to reach out to all ages within our local community and in doing so we run numerous communal events throughout the church calendar. Our activities involve weekly services for public worship, prayer and bible study, monthly 'Friends &

Neighbours' Evenings, school assemblies, services in local nursing homes, weekly children’s clubs, monthly ladies and youth evenings, five day summer club for primary school age children and summer BBQ’s for all the community. The church is open to all sections of the community and many from various backgrounds attend and express their appreciation. Everyone is made welcome.
