the direct benefit which flows from the purpose of 4OTC will include improved community relations in the Newtownhamilton area, increases social inclusion and health outcomes as well as providing new opportunities for skills and learning. This direct benefit will have a positive impact on the health and well being of the community. These benefits

will be demonstrated through regular feedback from those benefiting from the services of 4OTC and continual and ongoing evaluation and assessment of services provided by 4OTC. 4OTC do not believe and cannot see any harm or private benefit flowing from the purposes

What your organisation does

The Four Orange Thursday Club organise classes such as flower arranging, photography classes, line dancing classes. Every Thursday they hold an afternoon of entertainment for the senior citizens of the area and provide afternoon tea. The club also organises Day trips away and over night respite break. We also put on a Christmas Dinner in the hall

for all the senior citizens in the area and provide transport for them.

Charitable purposes

The group is established to promote the advancement of community relations between all members of the community in Newtownhamilton and surrounding areas and its environs without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. It will so do by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of the social welfare, education, recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. to establish a community development initiative and to co-operate with other relevant organisations in the promotion of activities by the Club and its constituentbodies in furtherance of the above objects. To promote and provide education in the Ulster-Scots music and culture and other indigenous traditions and cultures
