The key activities are the provision of support in employment to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities into the Northern Ireland Economy. We do this by supporting people with disabilities to secure and sustain employment. Disabled people are supported in the workplace through one to one mentoring, job coaching and advocacy. Employers
are supported through advice and training designed to prepare the workplace for the inclusion of disabled employees. We link people with disabilities to a range of additional services including Information & Advice, Advocacy, Policy, Research, Capacity Building, Community Development, Training on Disability, Equality, Human Rights & Diversity Issues, Transport and Mobility Assessment. All of these services are aimed at meeting the needs of disabled people as well as to support their families, friends, employers and others thereby improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in Northern Ireland.
