Public benefits

The public benefit flowing from the purposes of the Joseph Devlin Memorial Hall Committee Group are that the local community on the western shore of Lough Neagh are given the opportunity to engage in or be entertained by a variety of workshops, concerts, and displays of local music, dancing, story telling, history and culture. A further benefit is

that local songs and stories are maintained within the community for future generations. The hall can also be utilised by other local community groups and this provides extra community development and a real sense of place in what is a very rural and relatively isolated community. The benefits are measured by the number of events organised by the group and the numbers attending. It will also be measured by the number of other groups using the facility. From time to time the group has face to face meetings with members of the community to assess local needs and provide the activities that local people want. There is no private benefit from any of the activities of the group and no harm.

What your organisation does
