Purpose (a) to promote play based learning environments for all children under statutory school age (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) of Leitrim, Ballyward and its surrounding environs in County Down (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation,
nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and in particular: The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include improving social interaction between children and also to prepare them for full education in the future. These benefits arte demonstrated through the consistent full occupancy of the playgroup. The purposed of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charities beneficiaries are the people living in Leitrim, Ballyward and the surrounding community. A private benefit to trustees may arise from their fiduciaries of the group. Through this volunteering, trustees may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose (b) to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries. The direct benefits which flow from purpose (a) include improving their social skills by learning with other children. The children gain new experiences, learn new skills and interact with others in a supervised environment. The charities beneficiaries are the children and their parents and wider society as they will lead healthier lives. The benefit which flow from purpose C include encouraging families and communities to volunteer, to organise groups and facilities and to use the experience gained to become involved in activities to make life better for young children, their families and the community. This purpose will not lead to any harm. There will be no private benefit to trustees.
