Public benefits

The organisation will rescue, rehabilitate ad rehome stray unwanted or abandoned Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. the benefit to supporters will be the opportunity to rescue, foster and rehome Cavaliers and from this they will in turn gain the benefits of dog ownership. The local councils responsible for animal welfare will have their costs reduced

and this will have a commensurate affect on the rates. This will benefit rate payers. There is no private benefit for any of the Trustees. We do not anticipate nay harm befalling the public form the acidity of the charity.

Rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes stray, abandoned or unwanted Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Cavalier cross type dogs and any other companion dogs that may accompany them . Offers advice to current and potential Cavalier owners regarding health and breeding issues.

Charitable purposes

To take in, care for rehabilitate and rehome stray and unwanted Cavalier King Charles Spaniels , Cavalier cross type dogs and other dogs that may accompany them as companion dogs. This will be done via our foster care network. We also endeavours to educate the public about purchasing pups form responsible and ethical health testing breeders. Cavaliers in Need will also educate the public about the many health issues affecting the breed and advise where we can. Also as a group we will continue to educate ourselves about Cavalier health so as to impart further knowledge.
