Public benefits

Public Benefit of; 1. Promotion of Religion - By the encouragement of cultural, religious and ethnic tolerance, incorporating the training outlined below into specific training modules on the benefits of diversity. This should have the impact of promoting peace and reconciliation in the community. 2. Advancement of Education -

Positive-psychology education in communities, particularly in the areas of emotional intelligence and mastery. This will be achieved by the creation of training programmes for community workers and counsellors / psychotherapists. These programmes will be in areas such as stress management, anger management, assertiveness, tolerance and emotional wellbeing. These courses will positively impact not just the individuals in these communities who receive the training but also their families, friends and the communities in which they live. 3. Promotion of relief of poverty. By teaching skills and techniques which will enable individuals to identify and make use of their own competencies and skills and create the self- belief necessary to achieve things in life. This training will encourage individuals/ communities to be more self-reliant, to bring about positive change in their own lives, to enhance their self-esteem and self-confidence and thus help them out of the poverty trap. 4. Provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for those in need - on a practical level by providing the necessary physical needs such as food and shelter, at specified times, to go hand in hand with the education and training programmes outlined above. 1. Promotion of religion- the benefit of this would be that the recipients of training would reach a better understanding of cultural and religious differences, and this would be demonstrated by peace and reconciliation in the community. 2. Education-the benefit of training of community workers in stress management etc will be demonstrated by less tension and a better environment for those living in the area. 3. Relief of Poverty- the benefit of teaching self-help techniques will be demonstrated by those caught in the poverty trap being able to alleviate their own circumstances. 4. Provision of facilities in interest of social welfare- the benefit of this will be demonstrated by those receiving the education having at least some of their physical needs for food and shelter met at specified times. There is no private benefit or potential harm from any of the objects named above.
