Providing and making available a dedicated theatre and performing arts space for use by all sections of the general public. Engendering and increasing a sense of inspiration through appreciation of and involvement in the performing arts. The encouragement of the attainment of high standards in the performance of drama, dance and music. The

promotion and encouragement of the benefit of cinema and the creation of the moving image. Provision and delivery of out-of-school courses and schemes including week-ends and summer schools in drama for pre-school to eighteen years. Promoting , sustaining and increasing individual and collective knowledge within the community of drama and related performing arts. Promotion and teaching of life skills through participation in structured drama courses. Promoting and facilitating of annual community arts festivals in co-operation with umbrella bodies to increase participation in and appreciation of performing arts. Improvement to community life through the provision of a unique dedicated arts facility open to all. The beneficiaries of the WEB Theatre Ltd includes all members of the general public from pre-school children and their parents to adults of all ages and abilities.

What your organisation does

The WEB Theatre Ltd promotes and encourages the advancement,awareness and understanding of the performing arts for the public benefit. Provides and maintains a theatre complex with ancillary studio spaces for community use and public benefit. Co-operates with local authorities and umbrella groups to present performing arts based festivals and

productions. Devises , write and delivers creative arts based educational programmes for children of pre-school to eighteen years of age. Creates and delivers drama scripts based on topics within the N.I. Educational Curriculum to increase knowledge though the creative arts. Provision of a cinema space for the screening of classic movies for the general public and for use by local media based special interest groups. Cinema space is used by local authorities and groups for educational , charitable and cultural promotions.

Charitable purposes

To advance education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular but not exclusively the art of drama, in particular but not exclusively for children. To present, promote, organise , provide , manage and produce dramas , dance , operas, films, broadcasts, concerts , musical pieces , entertainments, exhibitions, tutorials, seminars, courses, workshops whether on any premises of the company or elsewhere.
