Public benefits

The benefits which flow from the Hannahstown Centre include greater community involvement from rural isolation. These benefits are evidenced by the number of individuals using the facilities which are recorded on a regular basis. Various meetings and discussions are held with the user groups to ensure they are happy with the facilities and for any

improvements to be implemented. Risk assessments are undertaken to ensure all user groups and individuals are in a safe environment. There are no activities that are harmful to the users. The Charity's main beneficiaries are all residents in the Greater Hannahstown Area and to any member of the public who wishes to avail of the facilities. There is no Private Benefit to any individual or organisation.

The provision of the Hannahstown Centre for various groups and organisations, eg Bowling Club Seniors group Father/Mother and Toddlers Gymnastics Art group, Heritage and Culture, Pilates, Ju-Jitsu, Yoga Community meetings, Folk Group

Charitable purposes

The association is established to: relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Hannahstown and district area of Co. Antrim and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
