Public benefits

Saint Brigid's One World Group provides the following benefits to poor and vulnerable people, families, children and women in countries in the developing world including South Africa, Sierra Leone, Peru, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Swaziland, India, Zambia, Brazil and Malawi - Feeding programmes to prevent starvation and malnutrition and to assist in

the physical development of children and their concentration and learning. - Health and hospice care to alleviate and prevent suffering and disease and provide dignity for the dying. - Wells and sanitation to help people grow food and to prevent disease. - Education, books, equipment and training to enable people to gain employment or make a living and support their families. - Housing to prevent homelessness and provide shelter and security. Reports and photographs are received describing the benefits which have resulted from our funding. These are recorded on our website www.stbrigids3wg.com No harm arises from our funding. No private benefit arises from our work. We have no paid employees and all funding raised goes to our projects apart from small amount for printing gift aid envelopes and for bank charges. Group supporters provide in kind donations of soup, ballot prizes etc.

Saint Brigid's One World Group raises funding through donations and events and sends money to a number of different projects in countries in Africa, Asia and South America which provide help to poor and vulnerable people through feeding programmes, healthcare, clean water, education and training.
