Purpose: Promote the welfare of the aged in any manner deemed by law to be charitable and through a range of services will seek to promote the welfare of people aged 55 or over (hereinafter called the beneficiaries) in the Trillick area (the area of benefit) The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: increased social interaction;
increased opportunities for their well being and security e.g. provision of light bulbs, testing electric blanket; improved access to benefits via talks and information provision; avail of a holiday among their peers. These benefits will be evidenced by verbal feedback on events and activities; growing attendance at events; photographs of events; return visits to the group. We do not anticipate any harm leading from the purposes of our charity. The charity’s beneficiaries are people in the Trillick area in Omagh District Council. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is than a trustee might avail of the party or other events. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
